Many of you have been here before probably notice we finally got around to sprucing the site op a bit. Problem with developers is we are so busy focusing on client projects that our own projects take a back seat. Imagine being a handy man and you are working on everyone else’s homes all day, when you finally get back to your house you want to kick back and relax. The last thing you want to do is work on another project! It gets like that some days!

If this is your first time here, let me take the time to welcome you!

The sales site is still a little rough around the edges and we are working on tidying up those last few things but as they say, “Duty Calls.”

Recent work on the Plugin involved some work cleaning up the back end Property Finder search form for the MFR clients. Their system could use a little updating and the data MFR is pushing to us that represents different metro “areas” is a bit of a mess and contains a lot of misspellings. So we are basically ditching that information and going with cities and zip-codes as the basis to set up Property Finder searches. We are putting the final touches on it now.

We welcomed two more clients this week, Wanda Martinetto and Eugen Adlea, both agents in Sarasota, Florida so our customer list in that market continues to grow.

In other news, our client Christina Miller has made it to the first page of search results for all 5 of her major search terms. As a result, the visitor counts are 5 times what they were only 6 months ago. Needless to say Christina is a pretty happy customer.

In a down market like we have been experiencing, agents need to take the opportunity to position themselves for a recovery. Agents like Christina that are doing the work now are the ones that will gain the most when things turn around. I am sure you remember the saying “the early bird gets the worm?” Well that certainly applies in the case of organic search marketing. If your site is still buried in search results, our SEO services can help position you perfectly for the day when things turn around. You are not going to get any leads if no one can find you.

Well that’s all for this musing. Till’ next time!
